Log Cabin Model Kajo 120 

The gently sloping gable roof, expansive panoramic windows, and spacious terrace give the Kajo 120 villa model a modern and sleek look.

This single-story house model consists of a main building and a sauna area integrated under the same roof. The house features a spacious living room-kitchen, two double bedrooms, and a half-bath.

A separate sauna area with its own entrance offers privacy for sauna sessions and overnight stays. A large terrace connects the spaces and makes the house a striking whole.

PolarHouse’s log home package, made from thermal logs, involves a delivery system where the components of the thermal log home are manufactured in dry factory conditions and delivered to the construction site as ready-to-assemble units.

Thermal log house adapt to many styles

You can choose the interior style and colour scheme to suit your taste. The illustrations show how different the interiors of the same model can look when the log surfaces of the interior walls are stained in different shades.

House package with a comprehensive supply of wooden components

In addition to design services and building permit drawings, the house package includes all the wooden components needed for the house. The wall panels, manufactured in dry and warm conditions at the factory, include windows and insulation materials.

The house package includes, among other things:

  • Insulated log elements, U-value 0.17

  • Roofing materials with Weckman Progantti metal roofing

  • Exterior doors with locks and threshold plates

  • Partition wall materials with log panels and doors

  • Interior ceiling materials and all trim for finishing

  • Deck frames and decking materials

  • Wooden components for the sauna, such as benches, wall panels, and ceiling materials

Roof installed

The delivery includes all the same components as in the comprehensive wood kit delivery, but you also get PolarHouse’s assistance with erecting the frame and building the house to protect it from the weather.

Construction professionals from PolarHouse’s partner network will erect the frame and build the house.

Installation includes:

  • Installation of the foam strip and bottom rail

  • Installation of exterior wall elements and gable triangle elements

  • Installation of roof trusses, roof frames, and large glulam beams for the beam roof, lifted by crane

  • installation of exterior siding at the joints between the element and the gable triangle element (including the element and the extension element)

  • installation of the roof-supporting columns and roof beams for porches and canopies

  • installation of nailing strips and exterior siding on the upper part of the roof beams and trusses

  • Installation of roof sheathing and underlayment for felt roofing OR installation of underlayment and battens for metal roofing

  • Installation of gable eave boards and eave fascia boards

  • Installation of roofing (asphalt shingles or metal)
